Warranty, Handling & Returns

WARRANTY:

Product shelf life: 3 years from date of manufacture. To check date of manufacture, provide the Order# from the core label of the material and contact us directly at 847-222-7100 or email info@jetcompfilms.com.

MATERIAL HANDLING AND STORAGE:

Recommended storage environment: Store all unused JetComp material in their original storage bag at ambient room temperatures (72 Fahrenheit) in a humidity controlled environment not exceeding 65% relative humidity.  Keep shrink films out of any direct light when not in use by storing in its original box to prevent potential yellowing.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY:

1. No fee returns and/or exchanges of unused/unopened material will only be accepted within 10 days of shipment. Customer pays shipping charges both ways.

2. After 10 days of shipment all unused/unopened returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

3. After 30 days the sale is final.

JetComp Basic Product Warranty:

A. Individual Product Limited Warranty.  JetComp warrants to the Distributor, Dealer, and the End User that each JetComp Graphics Product will be free of the defects listed below and manufactured to the specifications described in the applicable JetComp Product Bulletin in effect at the time of purchase. Additional warranties, if any, offered by the Distributor or Dealer are separate and exclusive of the JetComp Warranty.

B. Defect Coverage.  This coverage applies only when the defect results in the JetComp Graphics Product not meeting the description stated in the applicable JetComp Product Bulletin, with determination of whether such defects impair the usefulness of the graphic being determined by customary industry standards. • Physical Defects, Defects incurred during JetComp manufacturing processes, packaging, or shipment. • Manufacturing Defects Visual film and coating defects that prevent using the JetComp product for its intended purpose. • Printing Defects, Artifacts or misprints that occur due to a defect in the JetComp product when printing using recommended OEM printers and OEM inks.

Limitation of Liability: Except to the extent prohibited by law, JetComp and its parent company Proofing Technologies, Ltd. SHALL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE TO PURCHASER OR USER FOR ANY DIRECT (EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED REMEDY PROVIDED HEREIN), INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LABOR, NON-JETCOMP MATERIAL CHARGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL) RESULTING FROM OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO JETCOMP’S GRAPHICS PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR THIS BULLETIN. This limitation of liability applies regardless of the legal or equitable theory under which such losses or damages are sought.

Limited Remedy: For any JetComp Graphics Product that does not meet the applicable warranty terms, and results in an approved warranty claim, the sole and exclusive remedy is at JetComp’s option, replacement of the JetComp Graphics Product or replacement or refund of the purchase price paid. JetComp requires that samples of the failure be submitted when a claim is made and before a remedy is offered.
